MTL 3, PHI 1, 10/24/2016

Tough loss for the Flyers and a pretty choppy game overall. They created enough offense to win compared to Montreal, but Carey Price was on his game and the Habs took advantage of a late power play in the third period and that ended up being the difference. One thing the Flyers can feel positive about is the play of Jakub Voracek, as his line drove most of the offense yet again and he in particular had a fantastic game. They didn’t have much going otuside of this trio, though. The Giroux line had a quiet night and the bottom-six couldn’t pick up the slack. They also weren’t on the power play much, which is where Giroux & Simmonds have done most of their damage this year. Not one of their best performances of the year but they probably could have earned a point.
